Women serve an active role at home and in the office and have been conditioned to be able to switch their networking skills to deal with any number of conflicts that can occur on any given day. Women learn to balance the busy pace in business with a family life and they have learned to steer their way around obstacles and come up with a manageable solution.
Women have certainly excelled in the areas of finance because they learned early on to keep an eye on the economic indicators when managing the family budget. When tasked to manage a large corporate budget, they are able to trim costs in areas where nobody else had even considered. They learned these skills by networking with professionals in the banking industry and learned through quick lunch breaks the finer details of managing a quarterly budget statement.
The power of networking for women in business rings loud and true when they have joined in on a weekly conference call. They have used their networking skills to become a voice that demands respect and many business associates value the input that women in business have to add to the weekly calls. Women approach business from the same competitive level but can deliver a softer approach on the delivery portion of the message that they want everyone to know.
