We all experience problem overwhelm at some point, be it in business or in our private lives. When things get difficult and are rather uncomfortable we tend to employ our learned coping mechanisms and either completely switch off, get angry with ourselves and others, or we busy ourselves in an attempt to shut out reality.
None of these tactics get us out of the wood though. At best they postpone the problem to a later day when perhaps we may be able to cope better, we hope. In my practice as an EFT Practitioner my clients show me new and highly imaginative coping mechanisms every day. It seems we spend more creative energy figuring out how we can avoid facing and solving a problem rather then stepping up to the plate. Stepping up to the plate is alien behaviour to a lot of us. Instead, we suffer the stress and anxiety and health problems which are the result of our avoidance tactics.
Everyone, without exception, has resistance when it comes to facing up to their stuff. Working with my clients, I have found that even the most open minded ones, will have resistance at some level. Whether you are aware of it or not, and for the most part you are not aware of putting up resistance, it is there, causing you a lot of unnecessary pain.
Here are some of the most common telltale signs of resistance; Hesitation and procrastination, tiredness, blaming other people for your problems, anger, excuses, lack of focus. Do you recognise some of these in yourself? Great, if you do.
Recognition is always the first step.
It is also our greatest challenge. After all, how can I recognise something when I am not even aware of its existence? I teach my clients a very simple deep belly breathing technique which helps them to relax at any time, anywhere. Conscious breathing helps focusing your mind and clears away the cobwebs as well as relaxing you. Once you learn to breathe properly and use this basic little technique whenever you feel anxious or overwhelmed, you have taken the first important step to halve your problems.
Conscious belly breathing paves the way to direct your mind to your problem. I teach my clients EFT, Emotional Freedom Technique to resolve problem of any kind. If EFT is used correctly, results are achieved amazingly quickly.
I also teach my clients a simple gratitude routine to use and reinforce daily with EFT. This is an incredibly simple, yet powerful way to raise your energy levels almost instantly. Practiced over a period of a few weeks you will really notice a difference in the way you feel and how you view the world and the things you thought were irritating, distressing problems..
Now, what is EFT? I hear you ask.
EFT, Emotional Freedom Technique belongs to the group of energy therapies and is probably one of the most effective and powerful techniques available today. It has an impressive success rate of over 90%. When using EFT you focus the mind on a specific problem whilst at the same time tapping with your fingertips on a number of meridians, stimulating the body's energy system. Mind focus together with physical tapping is a very fast and effective way to change your vibrational energy almost instantaneously. As you feel your energetic levels change you are blasting away any resistance to facing up to your problems. Sometimes, in our sessions, my clients experience within minutes so called aha moments, which can be life transforming.
You can learn EFT easily and quickly. It is worth checking out if you want to put an end to tiresome problems controlling your life.
