There's no comparable city in the north of England for shopping. Outside the city centre you'll find the White Rose Shopping Centre, with 100+ retail outlets, including many high street names, free car parking, and superb facilities for the disabled.
Nightlife
When it comes to nightlife, few British cities can hold a candle to Leeds. Packed with diverse bars, clubs and live venues, Leeds' after-hours atmosphere is second to none. As well as the usual high street suspects, the city has a fantastic array of independent bars and clubs. The Northern Quarter bustles with hip little hideaways like Mojo, Sandinista and North Bar, whilst the Exchange Quarter is home to a range of popular establishments from brb, Oporto and Norman to the more relaxed and refined surroundings of Art’s Café.
