Added Value Comes to Healthcare Networks of America: Contract Signed with National Benefit Builders Incorporated
Phoenix, Arizona—Healthcare Networks of America has announced a new contract with National Benefit Builders Incorporated (NBBI). As the next step in Healthcare Networks of America’s service, this new contract will give podiatric specialty members access to the NBBI cash-paying program. HNA adds NBBI to the 6,800 payers in the HNA portfolio.
NBBI is prominent competitor among discount services in the discount card market as both a wholesaler and retailer of healthcare and lifestyle benefits. As the number of Americans not being able to afford traditional health insurance increases, NBBI has recently begun to fill that void by combining low-cost, limited medical insurance with high value discount benefits. NBBI strives to work exclusively with highly credentialed providers closely integrating quality and integrity as their standards (as seen with Healthcare Networks of America new contract for Podiatric services).
For members of Healthcare Networks of America, NBBI will build the cash-paying portion of members’ practices. Benefits that result from HNA’s contract with NBBI will be applicable for podiatry practices in all states with NBBI indicated on the patient identification card.
Healthcare Networks of America was formed to organize healthcare providers into national networks. The result of this combination was the negotiation of higher reimbursement, fee-for-service contracts with insurance carriers, PPO’s, and other health plan payers. Since 1993, HNA successfully built a provider organization for over 18,000 healthcare professionals in all 50 states. HNA’s multi-specialty network currently services 6,800 payers and 24.5 million patients nationwide.
